Our Story
We’re Apsara and Gowthaman—two friends who met while studying in the UK, brought together by shared values, ambition, and eventually, a big idea.
While living abroad, we noticed something simple but powerful: men took skincare seriously. It wasn’t a luxury or a trend—it was science-led, effective, and part of everyday life. That sparked a question in us:
Why isn’t this the norm back home in India?
Every time we returned, the gap was clear. Men’s skincare here was either ignored or overloaded with harsh, one-size-fits-all formulas that didn’t suit Indian skin or climate. It didn’t sit right with us—because we knew Indian men deserved better.
So we set out to change that.
With a shared passion for clean, effective skincare and a determination to do it right, we created The Essentia Men—a brand built for men who want results without the noise.
